Lenovo IdeaPad laptops and Yoga AIO7 PC touted to debut at CES 2021

Lenovo will debut the new range of Lenovo Ideapad notebooks and Yoga AIO 7 desktop PC at CES'21

Lenovo is all set to unveil its new Lenovo Ideapad notebook range at the CES 2021 (Consumer Electronics Show) alongside the Yoga 7 AIO PC and Lenovo TabP11, Lavie Mini, and Lavie Mini PC. The new range of laptops features the latest 11th-gen Intel Core processor and the AMD Ryzen 5000 mobile chipsets with the new and improved Alexa experience.

Here’s a closer look at the devices debuted by Lenovo at the CES 2021.

Lenovo IdeaPad 5G specifications and features

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5G features a 14-inch Full-HD IPS display that delivers 100 percent sRGB color gamut coverage and 300 nits of peak brightness. Powered by the Snapdragon 8cx 5G SoC, it comes with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and Adreno 680 GPU. The notebook comes with a dedicated SIM card slot and integrated Snapdragon X55 Modem-RF system for allowing the users to use a 5G/4G network when on-the-go.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5G also features an infrared (IR) camera for easy unlocking via facial recognition. The laptop uses user-facing speakers optimized with Dolby Audio Plus technology.

Lenovo Ideapad

The IdeaPad 5G comes packed with a 51Wh battery paired with Rapid Charge Express to offer fast charging via USB Type-C. Its inbuilt battery can deliver up to 20 hours of video playback (continuous) on a single charge. The laptop comes in a 14.9mm thin chassis and weighs just 1.2 kg.

Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Pro and 5 Pro specifications and features

Available in 14 and 16-inch display screens, the 5i Pro and 5 Pro are the mainstream notebooks from Lenovo. The two notebooks will be powered by the 11th-gen Intel i7 processor and be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM (for 5i Pro) and up to 32GB of RAM (for 5 Pro) and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

The 14-inch variant will come with a 2.8K IPS display having a 90Hz refresh rate while the 16-inch variant will offer a 2.5K IPS display having a 120Hz refresh rate. The 14-inch notebook will come with a 56.6Wh battery and comes with support for Rapid Charge Boost fast charging. The 16-inch notebook, on the other hand, comes with a 75Wh battery with support for Rapid Charge Express.

Lenovo Yoga AIO 7 specifications and features

Lenovo has released the Yoga AIO 7 for a premium experience on a workstation desktop. It features a 27-inch 4K IPS display that offers 99 percent Adobe RGB color standards and 99 percent DCI-P3. The display will have a rotatable hinge design that could swivel from a horizontal position to a vertical position. It can even be tilted up to 20 degrees. The wireless casting feature will enable to display to be used remotely from a smartphone/tablet without turning on the desktop.

Lenovo Ideapad

The desktop will be powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor and be coupled with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.

It comes with front-facing JBL Harman-certified speakers (stereo) as well as a wireless keyboard, a detachable 5MP web camera, and a mouse. Lenovo has also provided inbuilt mics on the desktop PC for activating Alexa. The blend of Cloud Grey with Moon White shades help deliver a premium look and feel to this device.

Lenovo IdeaPad laptops and Yoga AIO 7 price and availability

While the Lenovo IdeaPad 5G was announced at CES’21, its price is yet to be announced. It is expected to debut in the market in the coming future. It’ll be available in a Light Silver color option. The IdeaPad 5 Pro will start at $1149.99 (approx. ₹84,400) and be available for sale starting May’21 while the 5i Pro will go on sale from March’21 and be available for just €899 (approx. ₹81,000).

The Yoga AIO 7 is already on sale in China and be available for purchase in selected markets soon at a starting price of $1,599 (approx. ₹1,17,300).
