After weeks of teasers and leaks, Redmi has finally announced that it will be launching its Redmi 9 Power. Redmi has officially confirmed that the device will be launched on December 17th. Xiaomi is yet to reveal any official details on this device. However, it is likely that Redmi 9 Power is a tweaked version of Redmi Note 9 4G, launched earlier in China. This is why various reports hint that this device will soon come to India, but as a rebrand with some changes. The latest leaks suggest that the Redmi 9 Power will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear and feature a 6,000mAh battery.
Redmi 9 Power expected specifications and features
As per reports, Redmi is likely to be similar to Redmi Note 9 4G but with a few tweaks. The device is tipped to feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340p resolution. Moreover, it will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 662 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The phone will come in two internal storage options in 64GB and 128GB.
The phone will house a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera next to an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth-of-field lens. Moreover, the phone features an 8MP selfie camera inside the notch.
This handset will come with a huge 6,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charger. Moreover, the other features include stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
