Realme’s C-series is popular for bringing in decent specs at fairly low prices. Now, Realme is back at it with Realme C20 as it is looking to launch a new affordable smartphone. As per recent reports, Realme was spotted on Thailand’s NBTC Certification site, suggesting that the moniker is confirmed. The device was also seen on India’s BIS regulatory body website and the US FCC website, hinting that it’ll likely feature a 5,000mAh battery.
NBTC Certification confirms the Realme C20 moniker
As per the recent listing on NBTC Authority of Thailand, Realme C20 appeared on the site with the model number RMX3061. Moreover, another handset with the model number RMX3063 was spotted. This one is likely to belong to the same C20 series but with a different moniker. Both of these phones have received the approval of India’s BIS regulatory body, which was confirmed by popular tipster Mukul Sharma. With the Realme C20 being spotted on important certification sites, it is safe to assume that the official launch is likely to be very soon.
FCC listing shares images and reveals key specifications
The FCC listing also shared an image of Realme C20, revealing that the device will house three cameras on the back inside a square-shaped island. The report also confirmed that the device will run on Android 10 OS with Realme UI 1.0 on top. Moreover, it’ll be eligible for the Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11.
The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery rated with a real capacity of 4,800mAh. It’ll likely come with the fast charging technology expected to be 18W rated. The connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS.
The Realme C20 is likely to be a 4G LTE smartphone. This means there are numerous possible chipsets that could power the handset including the trending Qualcomm Snapdragon 622, or the Snapdragon 460, or even a decent MediaTek SoC.
