Lenovo launched Legion 5 gaming laptop with AMD Ryzen 4000 series Processor

Launch offers include one-year of Premium Care and one-year of Accidental Damage Protection worth Rs. 3,900

Lenovo on Tuesday, December 1st 2020, launched a new gaming laptop – Lenovo Legion 5. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4600H mobile processor. The device comes with six ultra-responsive cores and can be configured with up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti discrete graphics.

Lenovo Legion 5: Specification

Lenovo Legion 5 runs on Windows 10 Home Software. It comes with up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti discrete graphics, for greater visual fidelity in the latest games. Legion 5 comes with 15.6-inch IPS display with 1,920×1,080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Legion 5 is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor (3.00GHz, Max Boost up to 4.00GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads, 8MB Cache). The AMD “Zen 2” core architecture combined with 7nm process technology, available for laptops, AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series brings in higher performance. Lenovo Legion 5 features 4GB DDR6 RAM, 256GB of SSD M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe storage and a 1TB HDD on board.

Coming to its battery life, it is being said that in Hybrid Mode it lasts up to 8 hours. Legion 5 extends with battery life with the help of this Hybrid Mode. The gaming device supports Rapid Charge Pro for fast charging and Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 to control the fan speed and system voltage. The laptop is equipped with Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard with backlit keys and has Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0 for thermal efficiency.

Lenovo Legion 5 also offers a built-in HD (720p) webcam, and for added security, it comes with a privacy shutter. It also features two 2W Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Atmos headphone support. The laptop weighs about 2.3kg with the dimensions of 363 x 259 x 22-24mm. The connectivity options in the laptop include Wi-Fi 802.11 ax and Bluetooth v5.

The pricing of Lenovo Legion 5 starts at Rs 75,990 and comes in only one colour variant – Phantom Black. Launch offers include one-year free Premium Care and one-year of Accidental Damage Protection worth Rs. 3,900. As of now, the gaming laptop is available only on Lenovo.com and Lenovo Exclusive Stores. However, the company said that it will soon be available across other online partner platforms and retail stores.
