Hisense Tornado 4K 55-inch TV specifications and price revealed as the smart TV set to go on sale from December 24th

Hisense has finally launched its much-awaited Tornado 4K TV series in India. For now, the company has only made the 55-inch variant available with the other models being announced later. The TV will be up for grabs starting December 24th on Flipkart, Amazon, TataCliQ, and Reliance Digital.

The TV will come with slim bezels, AI upscaling, Dolby Vision, and 102W JBL speakers. It will run on Android OS, allowing access to Google Play and numerous Android TV apps.

The Hisense Tornado 4K 55-inch TV comes with a 55-inch display with a 4K resolution (3,840x2160p). It offers support for Ultra Dimming, Dolby Vision HDR, HLG, and HDR10. Moreover, Hisense has equipped the stunning TV with UHD AI upscaler, Motion Enhancement and Compensation (MEMC), smooth motion, and noise reduction.

The TV comes powered by a powerful quad-core processor with Mali 480MP GPU and is complemented perfectly by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It runs on Android TV 9 and supports Google Assistant and Chromecast.

The connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, two USB ports, a headphone jack, three HDMI ports, RF input, an AV port, and an Ethernet port. Moreover, it also has a Bluetooth remote with voice control.

In terms of audio, the Hisense Tornado 4K 55-inch TV comes with six JBL speakers that give a total output of 102W. It also supports Dolby Atmos. You get  YouTube, Netflix, Google Play Store, Google Play Movies, Prime Video, etc. pre-loaded.

Hisense Tornado 4K 55-inch TV price and availability

The Hisense Tornado 4K is priced at just ₹44,990 as it is set to become the first model launched in the Tornado 4K series in India. It will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, TataCliQ, and Reliance Digital from December 24th. Hisense had made the official announcement last week and revealed December 24th as the sale date. However, it didn’t share any pricing information for the 65-inch model that is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2021.
