Oppo confirms via a post on Weibo, that Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 Primary Camera. The 50MP lens is said to be jointly developed by Sony and Oppo to offer “extreme imaging power”. Recently, the smartphone was spotted at TENAA with its full specification.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ will be the first phone to feature 50MP Sony IMX766 Primary Camera. The image shared confirms that the smartphone has a protruding camera module with four cameras.
The image also shows that it would have a similar rear camera design as the Oppo Reno 5 pro. Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ on the TENAA listing confirms that the 50-MP camera will be coupled with a 6-megapixel superwide lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For capturing selfies, it will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.
It is being said that Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. It is also to run on a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging technology. It also shows that Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ will feature a hole-punch display with the cutout located in the top left corner of the display with a curved display.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ is expected to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The Geekbench listing rates the 5G phone with 886 points in the single-core test and 3036 points in the multi-core test.
The smartphone will be launched in China on December 24.
