Xiaomi POCO M3 will launch in India on November 24th, 2020 at a virtual event

Xiaomi is all set to launch its POCO M3 smartphone today, November 24th, 2020 at a virtual event globally. The online launch event will be live-streamed on its official YouTube, Twitter, Facebook handle, and the Mi community. The event is scheduled at 20:00 GMT + 8 (5:30 P.M. IST)

POCO M3 is an addition to the company’s M series which has POCO M2 and POCO M2 Pro. Over the series of tweets, POCO has already revealed some of the key features of POCO M3.

POCO M3: Features

The tweets by POCO Global confirms that POCO M3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Octa-Core processor. It is an octa-core processor with 1.8GHz clock speed and Adreno 610 GPU that will take care of graphic performance. It would run on Android v10 OS. POCO M3 will feature 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

Along with that, the smartphone would feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-like notch on the front. This comes with 1080 x 2340 pixels with Full HD+ resolution and 395 PPI pixel density.

POCO M3 will be backed by “Super Triple Camera” on the rear panel. The primary lens is expected to be 48 mega-pixels + 5 mega-pixels + 2 mega-pixels. The camera setup is expected to feature Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus

Talking about its battery, POCO M3 will feature a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging with USB Type-C port. It is expected to offer dual speakers as well. The Poco M3 has a unique dual-palette design with a black rectangle in the top portion for the camera setup and the company logo.

As of now, it is expected to launch in two colour options – Black and Blue. A Yellow colour variant might also get added. POCO M3 is likely to be priced at Rs 12,999.

The launch of the smartphone in India is still not known, but it is being expected to launch later this year or early 2021.
