It is expected that Xiaomi may announce its next flagship Mi series at Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020. The virtual event will be held on December 1st, 2020 and will continue till December 2nd, 2020.
Qualcomm has confirmed on Weibo about Xiaomi co-founder and CEO Lei Jun’s presence at the event. Although Xiaomi did not provide any details about the launch plans of its new Mi flagship – Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro.

The Chinese company would also share its long-term partnership with Qualcomm. It is also being expected that Jun might reveal some key specifications of the Mi 11 series at the event.
Qualcomm will unveil its latest flagship Snapdragon 875 chipset at the virtual event. It is rumoured that Xiaomi Mi 11 and Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be powered by the new chipset – Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. The latest Mi series flagship is could be the first phone to come with the next-generation Snapdragon SoC.
Mi 11 Series Specifications
It is being expected that the new flagship chip will include one Cortex-X1 core, three Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. This reportedly will be around 20 per cent more power-efficient and 10 per cent more powerful than its predecessor.
Xiaomi Mi 11 has received a single-core score of 1,105 and a multi-core score of 3,512. The Mi 11 Pro is rumoured to come with a QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. A recent Geekbench listing also suggests that the device will run on Android 11 and would offer 6GB of RAM option.
Rumours also suggest that the latest Mi 11 flagship phones will feature a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and an enhanced image stabilisation. Its third lens would support up to 30x Zoom. It is also being said that Mi 11 Pro might support 120W fast charging.
