In 2020, Samsung has launched numerous exciting budget phones with great battery backup – from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh to even 7,000mAh. With the latest Galaxy M series model that Samsung is reportedly working on, the tech world can expect another extraordinary entry-level handset but with a gargantuan 7,000mAh battery. Having such a huge battery backup only means that users will be able to enjoy two to three days of usage before having to charge the phone.

Samsung Galaxy M12 rumored specifications

According to the recent leaks by Steve Hemmerstoffer, Samsung’s latest masterpiece will be launching by the end of 2020 and be termed “Galaxy M12”.

On the first look, the Galaxy M12 looks eerily similar to the Galaxy A42 5G that was recently launched. Galaxy 12 has a plastic unibody rear cover, squarish rear camera housing (up to four lenses), and a flat front panel.

The back panel of Galaxy M12 resembles Google’s Pixel 3 Series as it has a dual-textured design with a beautifully glossed lower section and a stripped upper section.

The device’s selfie cam comes with an angled Infinity V-notch while the other specs include a 6.5-inch display and 163.9×75.9×8.9mm dimensions.

Galaxy M12 set to raise the bar for entry-level smartphones

Galaxy M12’s arrival into the entry-level smartphone market will not only make the competition tougher but it’ll also raise the bar for what people should expect from smartphones of this price range.

It is rumored that Galaxy M12 could cost as low as ₹13,000. Getting a smartphone with a 7,000mAh battery and a 6.5-inch screen for such an affordable amount will only mean Samsung and Galaxy M12 users reap the benefits while competitors struggle to match Samsung.

With Galaxy M12 coming with a 7,000mAh battery, you can expect the device to easily last for 2-3 days of usage before having to charge the phone. The huge battery will be a big boost to people who love playing games on their devices or people who travel a lot and want long-lasting smartphones.

The Galaxy M51, the other 7,000mAh battery smartphone by Samsung was launched early in September though it is priced at ₹24,999. Powered by Snapdragon 730G, the Galaxy M51 became India’s first handset with a 7,000mAh battery. The 6.7-inch sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, Sony 64MP Quad Camera, and more made it the meanest monster ever to be released by Samsung.
