Recently, a surprising listing was spotted on GeekBench as a device with the tag “Samsung SGH-N378” was spotted online. The device is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. The listing doesn’t really reveal much though it does hint that the device has 6GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. Additionally, other reports hint that the device may come with Adreno 619 GPU and feature the Snapdragon 750G chipset, which is Qualcomm’s new, budget-friendly processor for 5G smartphones.

According to the latest leaks by Tipster Abhishek Yadav, the rumored Samsung device could be powered by the Snapdragon 750G chipset, Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and come with Android 11 OS out of the box.

The benchmark scores hint towards the device being the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, a handset leaked earlier that was also supposed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset. Moreover, the device is very similar to the Galaxy A42 5G that was launched earlier.
Meanwhile, what is surprising is the model number – SGH-N378. While this isn’t really an indication of anything specific and could just be a random coincidence, it is very similar to the old Samsung-style model notations that were deprecated after 2013 and very different from Samsung Galaxy A42 5G’s SM-A426B/DS and SM-A426B. In fact, the closest you can find would be the original Galaxy J.

As per a report from Dutch news Outlet Galaxy Club, the Galaxy A52 5G could come with a macro camera but is unlikely to carry a zoom lens. Since it is expected to feature a 64MP primary camera, it’ll be a great upgrade from the 48MP camera of Galaxy A51 5G.
Galaxy A52 5G could hit the market as soon as the first quarter of 2021
The Galaxy A52 was among nine models to be trademarked back in January by the South Korean giants. Additionally, a report from The Lec in June shed light on the fact that Samsung could add wireless charging capabilities to the Galaxy A series in 2021. This would strengthen the features and competitiveness of Samsung’s mid-range smartphones. They also claimed that the 2021 Samsung A series might offer OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) support.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is likely to be launched in 2021. Moreover, you can expect Samsung to release a 4G variant of Galaxy A52 as well.
