Microsoft Surface Go 2 and Microsoft Surface Book Three removable 2-in-1 laptop have been launched in India on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020.  Microsoft Surface Go 2 and Microsoft Surface Book Three removable 2-in-1 laptop, both the devices come with different storage configuration.

Both devices will be available only for commercial customers in India.

Microsoft Surface Go 2 Specifications:

Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet runs on Windows 10 Pro in S mode out-of-the-box and supports Windows Hello face sign-in for security and comes with two processors options – Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y and 8th- Gen Intel Core M3. The tablet has up to 8GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage option. Talking about its display, the tablet features a 10.5-inch display screen with 1,920x 1, 280 pixels, with 3:2 aspect ratio, 220ppi pixel density, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. The tablet comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that makes the glass tougher and prevents it from scratch, damage and deep cuts.

Microsoft Surface Go 2 features an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera that supports 1080p HD recording. The tablet comes with a magnesium body with an integrated kickstand.

Talking about its connectivity support then the latest Microsoft Surface Go 2 features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, eSIM support, single Nano-SIM tray, USB Type-C port, Microsoft’s proprietary Surface Connector for charging and accessories, a headphones socket, and a microSD card slot.

The tablet also integrates 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and support for dual far-field studio mics. The Surface Go 2 is compatible with Microsoft’s Surface Pen and Type Cover accessories, which is sold separately.

It is been claimed by the company that the tablet gives battery backup up to 10hours.

Microsoft Book 3 Specifications:

Microsoft Book 3 is powered by the quad-core 10th-Gen Intel Core i5-1035G7 and i7-1065G7 processors and runs on Windows 10 Pro and offers Microsoft 365 apps preloaded, that comes with detachable keyboard.

This comes in two variants – Larger model integrates NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics, and the smaller model offers up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.  This model is being claimed up to a 50% performance jump.

Coming to its display the smaller model features 13-inch with 3,000 x 2,000 pixels resolution and the larger model features 15-inch with 3,240 x 2,160 pixels resolutions.

The smaller model with 13-inch display comes in four variants –

  1. 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and 10th-Gen Ice Lake Core i5 processor is priced at Rs. 1,56,299.
  2. The 16GB RAM, 256GB storage, and Core i7 model is priced at Rs. 1,95,899.
  3. The 32GB RAM, 512GB storage, and Core i7 processor variant is priced at Rs. 2,37,199.
  4. There is also a 1TB storage model that is priced at Rs. 2,59,299.

The larger model with 15-inch display comes in four variants –

  1. The 16GB RAM, 256GB storage with Core i7 processor configuration is priced at Rs. 2,20,399
  2. The 32GB RAM and 512GB storage model comes at Rs. 2,66,499
  3. The 1TB storage model is priced at Rs. 2,86,199 and
  4. The premium model with Core i7 processor, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage is priced at Rs. 3,40,399.

Both the models feature Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, two Surface Connect ports, an SDXC card slot,  far-field stereo microphones, and a fully backlit keyboard.

Microsoft Book 3 is powered by also features 5-megapixel front and 8-megapixel rear cameras.
