Huawei Nova 8 SE launched with 66W fast Charging: Key Features and Price

Huawei Nova 8 SE will come in two variants – Huawei Nova 8 SE and Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition.

The Chinese multinational tech company Huawei officially launched its first Nova 8 series smartphones – Huawei Nova 8 SE and Huawei Nova 8 SE high Edition on November 5th, 2020. Although apart from the processor and 5G connectivity in High Edition, every other specification and features remain the same for the two variants.

While the Huawei Nova 8 SE model sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC, the Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition comes with MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, and both the edition are powered by the Mali-G57 GPU.

Huawei Nova 8 SE: Key Specifications?

Huawei Nova 8 SE is set to run on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 custom skin. The smartphone features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution OLED display. Talking about the camera, Huawei Nova 8 SE comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.  The camera supports 4K video recording and 10x digital zoom. The front camera/ selfie camera comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The smartphone is backed by 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Huawei Nova 8 SE supports 4G, whereas the Huawei Nova 8 High Edition supports 5G connectivity. Along with this, the smartphone supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-AGPS. The smartphone’s battery is backed by 3800 mAh battery which supports 66W fast charging and USB Type-C port for charging. Huawei Nova 8 SE also features some special sensors like – Gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint scanner.

Huawei Nova 8 SE Won’t Launch In India

Huawei Nova 8 SE is priced at CNY 2,599 (Approx. Rs 29,100) and Huawei Nova 8 SE High Edition is priced at CNY 2,699 (Approx. Rs 30,200) and is available in Deep Sea Blue, Magic Night Black, Silver Moon Stars and Sakura Snow Clear Sky. The smartphones will go in sale from November 11, 2020, only in China.
