The Fastest VPN services to use in 2020

The change was aimed at relaxing some of the guidelines to ease the burden of India’s BPS and IT sectors.

VPN which stands for Virtual Private Network is a piece of software that helps in encrypting internet use and makes your internet activity secured, away from hackers and lets you spoof your IP address.

According to reports, the Indian government have issued a report of guidelines, that says that using VPNs that are not provisioned by the telcos will now be allowed, along with that companies will also now be allowed to route their International traffic over VPNs.

“The new guidelines tremendously reduce the compliance burden from the BPOs and IT-enabled services” reads the report.  Although the Indian Department of Telecom had already relaxed some these guidelines in March 2020 and April 2020, owing to the pandemic situation the DoT has again decided for some further relaxation.

“In addition, requirements such as deposit of bank guarantees, a requirement for static IPs, frequent reporting obligations, publication of network diagram, penal provisions etc. have also been removed. Similarly, several other requirements, which prevented companies from adopting ‘Work from Home’ and ‘Work from Anywhere’ policies have also been removed. Additional dispensations to enhance flexibility for the Industry have been allowed” the report read further.
