Samsung S30 will have a 6.2-inch display and slimmer bezels than its predecessor Galaxy S20, according to a leak by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks).
Hemmerstoffer wrote on his Voice page about the CAD renders of the Galaxy S30 with a 6.2-inch display screen, a hole-punch Selfie camera, and more. There appears to be a new camera module that extended from the phone’s outer frame and the device will have 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9m dimensions making it slightly wider than Galaxy S20, according to his post.
The Galaxy S30 is expected to be released in three models, including a top-end Ultra that features an S Pen Styles and new camera capabilities. OnLeaks claims the phone will release in January 2021, which will e the earliest release for a Samsung Galaxy S flagship.
The January arrival, after the mid-November debut for Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max, will mean Apple and Samsung launching their flagships closer than ever before. With barely months between the launches, this will make the choice between Apple and Samsung an intriguing battle.
Launching in January will also give Samsung a decent headstart over flagships from other smartphone manufacturers that are slated to launch 2-3 months into 2021. Galaxy S30 may have three models in five colors: pink, gray, white, violet, and silver, according to a report from The Elec, a Korean publication.
Apart from this, the South Korean tech giant is also said to be working on a pair of TWS earphones. These will be called the Galaxy Buds 2, which is expected to have better sound and added water resistance than Galaxy Buds that launched in 2019. Galaxy Buds 2 will come in silver, violet, and black colors.
