It’s the festive season and people are still skeptical about wanting to step out of their houses because of COVID-19. So, Amazon and Flipkart are planning to bank upon this through their Great Indian Sale and Big Billion Day Sale.
Rumored dates and attractive deals
Amazon Great Indian Festival, the official schedule for which hasn’t been announced, is expected to feature the OnePlus 8T 5G smartphone, which will be launched on October 14. On the other hand, Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale will be held between October 15 and October 21.
Flipkart has already announced that it plans to offer exciting deals on smartphones. It will also have some of the bestselling laptops listed at “up to 60% off” during the sale.
Here is what you can expect from Amazon and Flipkart sales:
Flipkart has confirmed that it will partner up with State Bank of India for this year’s Big Billion Day Sale. SBI customers can expect to receive a 10 per cent instant discount on purchases. Additionally, customers who make payments via Paytm will get assured cashbacks.
The best discounts are being offered in the smartphones section. Flipkart plans to give no-cost EMI options for purchases made via HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv and ICICI Bank cards.
Amazon too has given a sneak peek at the offers you can expect during the upcoming sale. It’ll be giving 10 per cent instant discounts on HDFC Bank credit/debit cards as well as on EMI. There will also be no-cost EMI options and exchange offers on mobile handsets, laptops, and other electronics and accessories.
Similar offers will apply to home appliances including TVs, Amazon Echo, Kindle devices, and Fire TV. The new Fire TV and Echo devices are expected to be getting many offers as they’ll be on sale for the first time.
Both Amazon and Flipkart will be offering an “early pass” for Amazon Prime and Flipkart Plus members, respectively.
