Apple’s First Indian Store to be Launched Online on Sept 23

Apple has finally decided to bring its online store to the Indian market. The Cupertino giant on Friday announced that the first Apple Store Online will be launched in India on September 23rd, bringing Apple’s full range of producers and services “directly” to the loyal Indian customers across the country for the first time. Apple’s current channel for sales and after-sales, until now, had been limited to the authorised resellers in India. But with this launch,  customers will be able to directly engage with the company as Apple promises to provide the same premier experience as found in Apple Store locations worldwide, delivered by an online team ready to offer its expertise.

The company is in the middle of its biggest push in the Indian market, with Tim Cook (the CEO of Apple) being highly vocal about India as their “key market” in terms of Cupertino’s growth in the present and the future market, even as sees a dip in its home market. Bringing Apple Store Online to the second-largest smartphone market in the world is definitely a big step forward in that direction. This move will definitely help Apple bring its hallmark producers and services like Applecare+ to India.

Experience convenient and high-quality customer service

The Apple Store online will be the most convenient destination for all Apple lovers who want to shop for Apple products. You’ll get expert help from Apple specialists available for helping with anything from setting up new devices to custom-configuring your new Mac. The customers can receive guidance and learn more about the new products directly from experts and Apple technicians, in both Hindi and English.

With numerous financing options and trade-in programs available, the Apple Store online will offer a wide range of affordability options for customers. Even the students can shop for an iPad or Mac with special pricing and avail student discounts on Apple accessories and Applecare+.

In October, the customers can expect a free online Apple session that’ll be led by local creative pros. These will be focused on music and photography and will be just in time for the festive period. Personal engraving and signature gift wrap will also be available for select products. The engraving of emojis or text will be in English, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi and will be available for AirPods while the English engraving will be available for Apple Pencil and iPads.

Health and Safety would not be an issue

Prioritizing the health and well-being of not just Apple teams but customers and communities as well, every order from the Apple Store online will be shipped with contactless delivery. Any order that doesn’t need a signature will be left at the customer’s doorstep while the orders that do need a signature will be done via verbal confirmation from a safe distance.

Apple, as a company, has been operating in India for over 20 years and the company’s ongoing investment and innovation have supported over 900,000 jobs across India. Bengaluru’s App Design and Development Accelerator has supported thousands of developers and the total apps created by Indian developers have become more critical than ever to everyday life as people look to stay more engaged and connected through digital means.

Among them are Wysa, a renowned AI-based app, which has made it possible for millions to get mental wellness support in an accessible yet affordable way, and YogFi, a yoga app that uses computer vision for machine learning and real-time posture correction to curate personalized yoga plans. It helps users stay more active and healthy from the comfort of their own homes.

As COVID-19 continues to present immense challenges and uncertainties, Apple’s team will continue to offer its support, whether it is through better products or through high-quality customer services to keep you satisfied with your Apple products.
