Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Buds Live Revelation – Price, Specs and Availability

Samsung unveiled its latest Note20, Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live in the Samsung Unpacked Launch Event.

South Korean multinational conglomerate, Samsung unveiled the features of its latest products to the world in the Samsung Unpacked Launch Event – 2020.

Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ Specs

The newest Tab S7 sports a 11-inch display whereas S7+ has a 12.4 inch display. While Tab S7 comes with an LCD panel, the Tab S7+ supposedly has the largest Super AMOLED till date. Super AMOLED is a type of OLED display wherein the display has an integrated touch function, that is, the touch-recognizing layer is integrated into the screen itself (as opposed to the traditional layer that recognizes touch on the top of the screen).

Similar to the flagship Note20 Ultra model, for the very first time, both Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will also have a display of  120 Hz refresh rate. The  S7 weighs about 495 grams whereas Tab S7+ weighs 590 grams.

The tablet operates Android 10 and is powered by a 7nm 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor. It supports 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Storage can be extended to 1TB using a microSD card.

The tablet has a dual rear camera with 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens. The camera configuration is accompanied by an LED light which is aided by autofocus. The front camera includes an 8-megapixel camera sensor.

The tablets incorporate quadruple speakers by AKG and Dolby Atmos sound technology.

The product extends Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and 5G connectivity in supported locations. A Type-C USB port is also available.

Smart device sensors like accelerometer, compass, light sensor, gyroscope, and magnetometer have been embedded in these devices to enhance their usability. Tab S7 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor whereas S7+ has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Tab S7 has 8,000mAh battery support and S7+ packs 10,090mAh battery.

The tablet comes with an elegant S Pen support which will be sold separately.

Price of Galaxy Tab S7/S7+

The newest Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will be available at the market price of about ₹62,000 for 6GB RAM + 128GB and about ₹69,100 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Tab S7 4G will cost roughly ₹70,900 for 6GB RAM + 128GB and ₹78,000 for 8GB RAM + 256GB.

Galaxy Tab S7+ will cost about ₹79,700 for 6GB RAM + 128GB and ₹86,800 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. S7+ 5G will be available for ₹97,500 for 6GB RAM + 128GB and about ₹1,04,600 for 8GB RAM + 256GB variant.

The tablets come in three different colors – mystic black, mystic bronze, and mystic silver. The tablet will go live on 6th August in select countries. The availability date of the tablets in India has not been revealed yet.

Samsung also revealed the latest Galaxy Watch3 model which comes with a physical rotating dial and two buttons on the side. The watch is 14% thinner and 15% lighter than the previous models despite an increase in the display size.

The watch weighs 53.8g for stainless steel and 43g for the titanium model. The product features a Super AMOLED display and Gorilla glass coupled with 1GB RAM + 8GB internal storage. The 45mm model will pack 340mAh battery and 41 mm model will pack 247mAh.

Some of the capabilities of Galaxy Watch3 as mentioned by Samsung are stated below:

Galaxy Watch3 will offer new experiences in health and wellness monitoring. The Blood oxygen (SpO2) feature will soon measure and track oxygen saturation over time, for fitness and wellness purposes. Galaxy Watch3 will also be home to the new Samsung Health Monitor app once launched, which will include blood pressure (BP) monitoring and electrocardiogram (ECG) readings in markets where these features have been authorized. To ensure that help is never too far away in the event of a fall, Galaxy Watch3 comes with a new feature that detects falls, which identifies a potential fall and can send an SOS notification to your chosen contacts.

Watch3 will also keep track of the VO2 readings to measure blood-oxygen concentration. Apart from this, the product features over 120 workout videos.

The 41mm model will be available for roughly ₹30,000 whereas the 45mm model is expected to cost about ₹32,100.

Samsung’s one-of-a-kind earbuds feature a tipless design which can be further customized to fit the size of the wingtips. The earbuds have a 12mm speaker, bass duct, three microphones, and a voice pickup unit. The product also supports active noise cancellation.

The Galaxy Buds allows seamless connection to different devices and features a touch-based physical user interface (PUI). As for the battery, when fully charged, the earbuds can support up to 6 hours of playback, and the charging case allows an additional 15 hours over multiple charges. The earbuds weight about 5.6g.

The Galaxy Buds Live will be available for an approximate value of ₹2,700.

Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live will also be available from 6th August in select countries.
