Samsung is gearing up to launch its third foldable smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 1 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung previously unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the Unpacked event part 1 alongside the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to be a better folding device than its predecessor as Samsung has addressed a few major issues with the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to make it more suitable for day to day use.

All the Details about the new Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung has improved a lot upon the screen with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The smartphone will reportedly sport reduced bezels which makes the aspect ratio really impressive when the device is folded. According to reports, Galaxy Z Fold 2’s outer display is a 6.23-inch SUPER AMOLED with 2,260 x 816 pixels and a 25:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will come with an Infinity-O display to house a 10MP selfie camera. There will be a 60Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 will support a new and improved inner display. Rumours suggest it will have a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with 2,208 x 1,768 pixels and a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a 10 MP cutout camera on the inner display.
The Smartphone will pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Galaxy Z Fold 2 is tipped to sport a triple camera setup at the back. Both the cover screen and the inner foldable screen feature support for HDR10+.

Samsung claims the Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a new and improved ‘hideaway hinge’ that features sweeper fibres to provide better durability and dust resistance.
The fingerprint scanner will be mounted on the side. All of this will be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 25W fast-charging, 11W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging as well.
Samsung is yet to announce the official pricing of Galaxy Z Fold 2. A listing on the Samsung UK website revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 pricing will start at £1,799 (Roughly Rs 1,75,200). Samsung will officially unveil Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the Galaxy Unfold Virtual Event.
