Samsung launched its next-generation Galaxy Watch 3 recently at its Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the launch of its Galaxy Note 20 Series. Today the company has revealed the India pricing of the smartwatch after the successful launch of the Galaxy Note 20 series. Here are the details about the Galaxy Watch 3:

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Price

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is launched in the Indian market with a starting price point of Rs. 29,999 for the 41mm Bluetooth variant. The 41mm 4G variant is priced at Rs. 34,490, the 41mm variant will be up for sale in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Silver color options.

The Galaxy Watch 3 45mm variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 32,990 for the Bluetooth variant and the 4G model is going to be up for grabs at Rs. 38,990. As per the company announcement, the smartwatch will be available for purchase from August 27. It will be available across all the retail stores, Samsung Opera House, and Samsung online stores. The company also announced that the pre-booking of the latest Galaxy Watch 3 starts from today for the 4G model and the other variant will be available for pre-orders from August 20.

Pre-orders arrive with a wide range of attractive cashback and discounts on e-commerce sites like Amazon India and Flipkart. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 41mm Bluetooth model comes with an instant cashback of Rs. 4,500 and Rs. 5,000 for the 45mm Bluetooth variant. Flipkart and Amazon are offering this deal between August 20 and 26.

Under the offer, consumers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live at just Rs. 4,990 (discount of Rs. 10,000)if they make a pre-booking of the Galaxy Watch 3 4G model between August 17 and 26. The offer is available on both 41 and 45mm variants.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 specifications

 The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 45mm model sports a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels which is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection. The smaller variant with 41mm dial size arrives with a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection and 360 x 360 pixels.


The heart of the smartwatch is powered by Samsung’s in-house dual-core Exynos 9110 (1.15 GHz), paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage which can be used to store music playlist. On the software front, it runs Tizen-based Wearable OS 5.5.

The newly launched Galaxy Watch 3 features an array of sensors including Accelerometer, ECG sensor, 8 LED photoplethysmography, Gyroscope, Barometer, Ambient Light. On top of that, it also comes with 5ATM + IP68 which makes it water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD 810G certification for durability.

Connectivity-wise the Galaxy Watch 3 flaunts 4G LTE (Optional) Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo. “The all-new Blood oxygen (SpO2) feature will soon measure and track oxygen saturation over time, for fitness and wellness purposes,” reads the official forum.

“Sleep Management features have been enhanced now with sleep score and insights to help you get better rest,” the company added further.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is compatible with devices running on Android 5.0 and above with 1.5 GB RAM and for iOS users, it is compatible with iPhone 5 and above with firmware update iOS 9.0 and above.

Under the small circular dial, the company has managed to equip the 340mAh non-removable battery on the 45mm model and 247mAh non-removable battery with the 41mm variant. It also supports WPC-based wireless charging.

“Long-lasting battery life, supporting up to 8 hours of playback, and the charging case allows you to enjoy an additional 23 hours over multiple charges. You can gain 1 hour of play time with just 5 minutes of quick charging,” reads the blog post.
