Samsung hosted its first-ever Galaxy Unpacked virtual event live-streamed from Korea to introduce a new lineup of devices. Five devices were revealed during the event that seamlessly integrates to empower consumers navigating a rapidly changing world. This device includes the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra, the company is promoting them as the most powerful Note series yet. Alongside the Samsung has also announced the Tab S7, S7+, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Buds Live, and the Galaxy Z Fold2, the next-generation foldable smartphone with enhanced refinements.
However, in this article, we are going to talk about the most important Galaxy Note 20 series.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Price
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is launched with a price tag of $999.99 (approx Rs. 75,400) for the 128GB storage variant with 5G connectivity. On the other hand, the elder sibling Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will cost you $1,299.99 (approx Rs. 97,500) for the base variant with 218GB onboard storage. Do note that the Galaxy Note 20 5G model will be available in 128GB and 256GB variants, whereas its 4G model will only arrive in a 256GB variant.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be up for grabs in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options with 12GB RAM, but the 4G option will only be available in 256GB and 512GB variants with 8GB RAM offering.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED+ flat display with a resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen will come with an aspect ratio of 20:9. On the hardware front, the smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC or Exynos 990 processor depending on the market. The newly launched smartphone is backed by an 8GB RAM with up to 256GB storage.
The smartphone offers a tri-lens rear camera setup with the combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor + 64-megapixel secondary sensor + 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens along with an LED flash. Upfront it houses a 10-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 20 is fuelled by a 4,300mAh battery that supports fast charging technology. On the connectivity part, it offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra arrives with a bigger screen size of 6.9-inch WQHD Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X curved-edge display with a resolution of 1,440×3,200 pixels. It also sports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. Underneath the smartphone draws power from the octa-core Exynos 990 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, clubbed with 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of onboard storage.
As far as cameras are concerned, the elder sibling features a triple rear camera setup with the combination of 108-megapixel primary camera + 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 12-megapixel tertiary sensor. The Galaxy Note20 Ultra cameras are capable of 3x optical zoom and 50x space zoom and also supports 8K video recording feature.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra offers a 10-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It is also equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner which allows you to unlock the phone in seconds.
On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Besides, the smartphone also offers Wireless DeX support which will allow users to convert the phone into a mini desktop.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is fuelled by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery with fast wired and wireless charging support. It runs Android 10 with One UI on top.
Multitasking with Advanced Samsung DeX
The company has also introduced the Samsung DeX which will allow users to wirelessly connect to the Galaxy Note20 series with Smart TV when you need a bigger screen. Manage two screens simultaneously so you can text with your friends on the Galaxy Note20 series while watching a video on a Smart TV.
Galaxy Note20 will be available in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Green, Mystic Gray color option. Whereas, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra will be available for sale in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black, Mystic White options. According to the announcement, both the models will be available for sale from August 21.
Samsung is yet to reveal India’s pricing and availability, so we have to wait for the announcement.
