Google Pixel 4a With Snapdragon 730G Goes Official: Price, Offers And Specs

Google has finally launched its most awaited smartphone which has been into rumors for quite a while on the internet. Yes! You read it correctly we are talking about the Google Pixel 4a. Search giant Google has officially launched the smartphone in the United State and the phone is arriving in India during October. Here are the details.

“The price of Pixel 4a in India will be revealed closer to its launch in October 2020, when it will be available for purchase on Flipkart. Regarding the two new 5G Pixel phones that were announced globally today, these will not be available in India or Singapore, based on a variety of factors including local market trends and product features,” Zee News quoted Google as saying.

Google Pixel 4a Price

The Google Pixel 4a is launched in Just Black color option with a starting price of $349 (approx Rs. 24,430) for the 6GB RAM +128GB storage variant. The smartphone is currently available for pre-orders in the United State on the Google Store and Google Fi. The Pixel 4a will be up for grabs from August 20 via Google Store, BestBuy.com, Amazon, and more. 

“Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will be available in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. In the coming months, we’ll share more about these devices and our approach to 5G,” reads Google blog post. 

Google Pixel 4a Specifications 

The Google Pixel 4a features a 5.8-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design. Under the hood, the smartphone draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, with the Titan M security module for on-device security. The Pixel 4a is backed by a 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. 

As far as cameras are concerned, the company is keeping the same square-shaped single-camera module at the back. It sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 camera setup with an LED flash. The rear camera setup also supports HDR+, portrait mode, Night Sight with astrophotography capabilities, and more.

Upfront, the Google Pixel 4a offers an 8-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera setup with an f/2.0 lens.

The newly launched Google Pixel 4a is fuelled by a 3,140 mAh battery which comes with 18W fast charging support. Besides, the company also claimed that the users will be able to enjoy entertainment, games, and apps along with extra storage as the company are offering three months free trials for YouTube Premium, Google One, and Google Play Pass.
