Xiaomi teases launch of Redmibook, Mi brand laptop in India

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmibook and Mi branded laptops for the Indian market. A special version is also on the way for its Indian patrons is meant to be a lightweight design. 

 

 

Xiaomi has indicated that the new Mi brand laptop will have 12 hours of uninterrupted battery life, packed with a full HD display and an Intel i7 processor. 

 

The special Horizon version will have 14 inches of Horizon edge display with thin bezels. It also comes with a DTS( Digital Theatre System) powered audio and SSD storage. It is speculated that this version will possibly be the rebranding of Xiaomi’s old Chinese market version. 

 

Specifications of the new version of the laptop have not been announced yet. The company has decided to launch the products on 11 June starting at 11:00 pm.

 

This comes a week after Xiaomi India Managing director Manu Jain, teased a launch on his official Twitter account. 

 

Manu Jain, Xiaomi India’s managing director released a teaser that showed him using a Mi brand laptop. The video, that went viral quickly, carried a hashtag #WhatsNextFromMi

 

The launch of Xiaomi’s laptops in the Indian market space was certain but the timeline was confirmed when Manu Jain, announced the launch through his twitter account.
